Looking for something beautiful and unique?  Serving the Gauteng area, FLYING MEMORIES specializes in ceremonial white dove releases and displays.  Let us help you create an unforgettable memory for your event.  White doves provide that extra touch, a final symbolic gesture that will leave your guests with feelings of goodwill and joy.  A typical dove release involves 10, 15 or 20 white doves, which are released from decorative wicker baskets.  Our services are flexible and can be customized to fit your individual needs.  These birds make the perfect romantic touch in a wedding, the symbolic and special message at a memorial or funeral service, a proud symbol during a graduation, or the wonderful touch at a grand opening.  The sight of the white doves in flight will always be remembered. From the 1st February to end April each year, our white doves are unable to fly due to their molting process, this is when most birds loose their flight feathers and grow new ones.  Besides not been able to fly very well, they don't look so good either.  This takes place on an annual basis for most birds species in South Africa.  The doves do not all molt at the same time, so there will be some that will still be able to fly during this time, but just no guarantees.  A confirmed booking will still take place with deposits paid and should they not be able to fly by the time your booked date comes up, I certainly will refund you the full deposit.  Its not the best plan, but this is what happens during this molting time.
