OUR DOVES

OUR DOVES

*    As in all cases of the bird species, molting season takes place from February to end
April.  This is when the birds loose their flight feathers and grow new ones.  During this
time the doves do not look so good and at times unable to fly long distances.

I don't like to let anyone down but I cant promise that "maybe for your event" the
doves will be fine during these months of molting and in the end  they aren't. There is
just no guarantee during these months.

*  The white doves are very well taken care of, their lofts are kept in immaculate condition
and cleaned every day, and they bath once a week in special bath salts, especially
      before an event.

*  Their special diet gives them all the vitamins and minerals that are needed to fly, and are
given medication to keep them healthy.  Should any of them fall ill, they are placed in
the hospital section to recover until well enough to fly.  All of the doves are vaccinated.

*  The birds train on the road every day, except for Sundays if they are not needed.

*  They are very much loved and care for.

*  All the white doves are homing birds, they will return to their home in Johannesburg
after being released.  They will not stay at the venue where they are released.

*  I do not ship my doves  by overnight couriers  for self release.    Personally I
don't believe it is the right thing to do.

*  I  attend every event with professionalism to  ensure smooth running of the event and
    that my doves are safe.
